1) I used a lobster clasp b/c the bracelet was really big on my mom...
2) The 6 crystal comet cubes never got sent to me, so I didn't use them alltogether, instead I used all the blue rounds as charms, and and instead of 4 black diamond cubes, I used all 6 of them. This made up for the lost 6 cubes.....
Those comet cubes are limited availability cubes and are hard and expensive to find, so if you're going to make this, you should do it now.
; )
hope these help... xo

exposed
Ok, first of all I just LOVE the book. I saw the cover and thought it was B-E-A-UUUU-TIFUL!
I like how you can actually SEE the pictures clearly and tell what the pieces are supposed to look like. A lot of times you buy these books/magazines and they're covered with props, or most of it is blurred out and all you see is a part of it. HOW does that help you? In Exposed, you see every picture with great detail.
I wanted to make something from the book, so I chose a piece and had my mom choose. I said "choose anything you like, if you pay for the materials, I'll make it and you can keep it" (I had to pay a $600 summer class off, so I couldn't make mine yet...)
My choice was Night Sky by: Katie Hacker. I'll post pictures once I've made it. :) (I will admit though, I've already found a typo in her materials list...)
My mom chose Blue Lagoon by: Fernando Silva. I was a bit intimidated b/c his reputation for intricate, large pieces, but the instructions were very easy to follow. The pictures show you step by step and are lettered to match the instructions for that step. Here is a picture from the book:
And....here is MY finished piece:
I had a lot of fun making it...and I can't wait to make some more... i loved this book so much!! :)
Thank you again CYSC for making it possible :)
