How to make Swarovski's "Christmas decoration angel"

I tried searching for it also...and cannot find any source.  I think this might be something that is more readily available in Europe. 

You might try a Christmas Tree farm ... one that has a lot of hay bales, or a Florist might have something similar that can be made flexible by soaking, or use a completely different material...perhaps plain plastic drinking straws, or ribbon that has been stiffened with starch or diluted white glue?  It won't have the same rustic, European look; however I am certain it will look lovely!

If anyone else finds a resource for these straws, please let us know!!!!

I found a shop here in Germany (I don't know this shop personally), you can get those straws from Rayher, but I don't know the exact measures (they don't show it)

It is Strohhalm in German......They use it here to build christmas stars for the tree.
