LOOM WEAVING

This week we poresent to you a basic technique ... Loom Weaving

Have you tried it before? Do you have it incorporated in any designs you could show? What difficulties to expect?

What can you use it for?

Dare to ask questions! I am convinced our more experienced members will be more than happy to ask!

what kind of pieces would you make with this? I have done loom work before but not with beads I'm curious as to it's purpose. I'd love to see or hear some creative idea. = )

Hi everyone

I saw this topic and I've pasted a link to an Egyptian collar design that I did on a loom using beads.

Jaycee

Thank you. It certainly is a lovely piece. Please though, from now on post your designs using Swarovski crystal (only) under the design section on this site. This is so all other members can see it easier from your profile page. Also your link leads us to a page where your designs/patterns are for sale and our forum is a creative platform for sharing ideas and designs, but not selling them. Thank you so much.

Sorry, please delete my

Sorry, please delete my post. I do usually only post pics using Swarovski crystal which you will see if you look at all my pics. I thought this particular discussion was about weaving on a loom. I have no intention of soliciting my site at all.

Sorry, Admin...

The picture is of a piece made of Right Angle Weave. But, I'll bet it could be converted to weaving with the right beads and the right thread.....Undecided

For Wendy....the possibilties are endless.  Any loom pattern can be converted to be used with crystals.  Lots and lots and lots and lots of bracelets and amulet bags or other evening-type bags are made on a loom.  Our Betcey does some amazing loom work and I'll bet there are others in our community also.

The possibilities are endlesss!

OK, my turn . . .

OK, my turn to correct Diane now!

Thanks for the compliment, but . . . huh? Me and loomwork? I've done some loomwork in the past (and I mean PAST), but I don't think I've touched a loom in 15 years!
