When the upload completes and you see a picture (that is not yours..) what is it of?
Have you remembered to "save" your changes before you submit the page or leave the edit section?
Maybe the file is too large?
*these are just a few things that it could be...please let me know when you can more info please, maybe it's something I can (or another moderator) help you with... if not we will send it to our Admin who will know what to do.

The pictures that appear in my profile after uploading are random photos of perhaps other forum members work? I have no idea. Each time I upload, the photo changes. I always choose "save", but still, it ends up being a photo other than mine. The size of the photos I'm uploading are approx. 840 - 860 KB.
I'm going to give it another try right now and see what happens. If I have no luck, I'll let you know.
Also.... I've subscribed to this page, but yet, I did not receive a notification that a post was made. If I don't remember to come back here to check the forums, I won't know if there's been a reply to any of my posts. Kinda frustrating.

Carol, try sizing them to no larger than 500 X 500 and that should fix your problem. If you don't know how to resize a photo, check the "HELP" section of whatever photo editor you use. Make sure you do a "Save As" though, so you don't change your original photo.

Carol....I just tried to add a photo to my profile that was too large, and I got the exact same results that you did. Instead of my photo, or a notice saying that the photo was too large, I got the image of a bracelet that our friend Kenji entered into the original design contest...of course I recognized the picture immediately! So...do try the resizing and saving. I am pretty sure that will solve your problem. I'll report this "glitch" to Admin so he will have something to do when he returns!

Oh dear....I went back to try again, and my Profile picture has now been changed. I tried to re-save the picture I have been using since we started this Community...but I keep getting the same results that you got...a random picture of someone else's design. I know that the picture I am using is the right size, I've checked it again and again...so maybe we should all wait until Admin is back and he can attend to this glitch....In the meantime....my profile looks like it belongs to someone else! OK, Carol...sorry about all the edits here....I was able to fix my problem by going to the "Edit My Profile" tab on the right side under COMMUNITY BOARD, Direct Links vs. opening My Profile and using the Edit tab (hope this makes sense.) So I've fixed my profile picture, but I still don't have an answer for you other than try again with a smaller picture....and report back to us what the outcome was.

Thanks for all your efforts. Although I already knew my picture was not oversized, I downsized it anyway, and tried once again to re-upload it. Still getting the same result. 
The reason I say that I know my photos are not oversized is because I have 20+ photos on my profile already, and each of them was taken with the same camera, using the same settings and memory card. So, I am still having issues with the same photo. Anyhoo....here is the photo I was trying to upload.....

Problem Uploading Pic to Profile
Hello All,
Didn't know if it was just me, but I've tried half a dozen times today to upload a new pic to my profile page, and when the upload completes, what I have is a picture that is not mine. Very strange!! I've tried numerous times to upload, and I've even tried using different file folder locations on my PC. No success. Totally baffled.
Would appreciate any advice/suggestions to rectify this issue. Thanks in advance!!
