Morion is the color that I searched for a long time on eBay. I had to see it with my own eyes because from the photos it looked sometimes grey and sometimes blue. I was thrilled I got these 8x3mm navettes but I was a bit worried of the fact that my settings were for navettes in size 8x4mm, but I managed to fit them anyway.
So this is the brooch with morion navettes and crystal rhinestone core. I made the brooch motif with a single piece of wire. The brooch is a bit domed and a bit flexible (I didn't have a suitable stamped filigree plate that I usually put behind the motif).
I love the color, it's the color of the midnight sky :)
Triangle Motif with Pearshaped Rhinestones

Triangular motif that I used to make a brooch and a necklace. Brooch has some cool and rare rhinestones in it. These pears are two-colored with sapphire and a bit of emerald in the center. Remember I said at the forum I LOVE bicolor rhinestones
! I wonder if it's really easier to put a surface coating on a stone than make a bicolor stone? I have no idea... But the bigger crystal rhinestones are bit different also. They have a hole drilled on the surface, it's ment to fit another thinestone (19ss size) but I really like the hole. It creates so many extra reflections inside the stone that makes it look so different.Necklace has aqua blue sabrina vintage glass pearshaped stones. It's the same motif, instead of bigger round rhinestones I put pearls in there with bead caps. And in hte center there is a vintage givré stone (mix of crystal clear and silky pink glass).

This is a great idea when you don't have rhinestone cupchain in hand but want to create a similar look. I haven't seen a copper plated cupchain at all. I made this bracelet from rhinestones in setting and attached them with round jump rings. Flat backs creates amazing sparkle in every movement! Colors are quite modest and earthly but this bracelet will not be unnoticed
