While I was at Discount Bead Store I saw the Clay Rose that I used in this piece and immediately started weaving it in my head, I knew right at that moment exactly what I wanted to create for my next Bead Weaving Class.

hand crafted laurnea flower made out of wire attatched with seed beads wrapped round two pieces of memory wire beaded with light wood beads pulled together with little danglys (handcrafted wire leafs, seed beads and wood bead) to turn it in to a beautiful cuff bracelet.......

Romance en Bleu Brooch

I have never mixed different blues together before. I got the courage to do so this time from the vintage swarovski stones that are named romance en bleu as color. It has blue color on the back side of a crystal clear stone so it paints the whole stone in blue. Every stone is bit different shade of blue and when changing the angle they change the hue, so it can look deep dark blue and also light torquoise.
I put warm blue indicolite stone in the middle and surrounded it by glass beads that have colder sapphire and black swirls. Very different blues. The smaller stones (romance en bleu) are combining the warm and cold blues together because they have both in them.
