About me: Hi everyone...my name is Melissa and I am a jewellery designer from the Blue Mountains in Australia. I have been creating jewellery for just over 3 years and so far I'm still adoring every minute of it.I live in a beautiful part of the world with my husband, 2 boys and miniature Dachsund! Experience and Creativity: I am primarily self taught having only done a couple of small workshops when I first started out. Since then I have made many pieces of jewellery and my style involves a mix of techniques from stringing,wire work,metal clay,polymer clay etc. I love working with precious metals,gemstones,lampwork beads and of course Swarovski crystals.
Hobbies and Interests: With young children I still consider making jewellery my hobby. I enjoy selling my creations to family & friends, at my local markets and on my website. I also love making special pieces for Competitions and have received various forms of acknowledgement over the last 2 years.
Fields of Creativity: Have always been creative since I was little and have been involved in a number of crafts over the years as hobbies...painting,tapestry,folk art,decoupage etc!!
