I'm a stay at home mom of two boys who gets bored pretty easily;-) I live in manila, philippines. I've always been pretty creative since i was a kid. I love swarovski jewelry and i used to buy ready made ones. So when I saw someone making them, I decided to try to make my own. Nobody thought me, I just went online and studied the techniques that some websites post. Now, though i'm not that good of an artist, i can definitely say i can make jewelry for me and friends and family.
- Experience and Creativity
I've been making simple bead bracelets since I was a kid. I used to sell them to my classmates. I don't know if all of you would know of the sunflower craze way back in the 90's. But that was a big hit here in my country. I made some for myself and wore them to school, when my classmates saw it, they wanted to buy that from me. That's what started it for me. Now, its all about swarovski, glass and semi-precious stones in gold and silver wire. I think I made about 30 bracelets since I started and was able to sell it to friends and neighbors. I also give them as gifts to family. I'm fairly new in this area of jewelry crafting and I still have a lot to learn. My designs are pretty simple and easy to make.
- Hobbies and Interests
I love reading books. Romance mostly, but I love 'The Diary of Anne Frank', 'Mary Poppins' and 'The Bridges of Madison County'. I also love hanging out with my friends and cooking.
- Fields of Creativity
I guess i'm a crafty person. I taught myself to cross stitch and crochet. I also love making invitation cards for family and friends. And now, jewelry making.
- Favorite Movies and Books
Where the Heart Is, Practical Magic, A Walk to Remember, Two Weeks Notice, Jack, Patch Addams, What Dreams May Come.... pretty much all of Robin Williams' movies. What can I say, he's an excelent actor. Mary Poppins, The Bridges of Madison county, The Diary of Anne Frank, and mostly romance pocketbooks.

Just saw you are in Manila...
I lived in the "P.I." (On Subic/Cubi Naval Base) for 3 years many many years ago (25 now) and have very fond memories of all the lovely people and the beautiful lush jungles. LOVED Manila, such great shopping. It was my cultural connection with the rest of the world when I was there. Greatest shoe shopping in Makati.

It's kinda funny though, here you are from another country and i've yet to go to the subic jungles that you were so fond of. I've only been to subic once, and i've only been to the beach. But my Dad, who works for the Philippine Tourism Authority have been there.
Manila is getting too crowded now. Soooo much traffic. But we have so many new shopping malls, and i think, i can live with that.
I'll be starting work in Makati this June 20th. So' I'll tell you all the sights and happenings over there. Do you have any plans of visiting my country again? If so, I can be your tour guide.
My boys are ages 9 and 7. They'll be starting school next week. Although they try my patience everyday, I would'nt have it any other way.
